Bulbar palsy is different to Bell's palsy and is different to psuedobulbar palsy. If we look at the anatomy here we can better understand why they are different and we can also talk about some of the cranial nerves, the functions they are responsible for, and compare lower motor neurones with upper motor neurones.

Hi! Great topic for today and a great video! But I recently came across a post on the internet about ''Cranial Nerve 0 - terminal nerve''. Is this a thing? And, if so, is it worth exploring its topic?

I watch your videos because I am a Taekwondo Kickboxer... Helps me understand the movements and different info on the body... Like where the hip or knee stretch best... TO the way I was over running and thought I wore out my knee cartiledge when in reality it was just weak and not toughened... as well as I needed to do more stretching.. You helped me 3 times in one video you did years ago alone... Please do not stop making these videos... You are an excellent teacher... Im 34 and have no need for biology but man it sure is usufull to an athletes life though. Proof your videos are reaching way more than anatomy students. Cheers my friend!

Thank you for this!! I was struck with Belle’s Palsy in 2010..I distinctly remember thinking I was having a stroke. I still have a droop on the left side of my face with some weaknesses but not too bad. I’m constantly being asked by doctors why my facial asymmetry is different or if I’ve had a stroke.

Volume OK at my end. First, check level on the actual KZbin video itself; if this is max volume then check your equipment. Good luck.
