There's a TV show or Movie in-game that also shows a horse which was one of the models, but those were made incredibly early in the games development so it almost looks like the GTA IV engine lol.

Like how Skyrim is very limited for speed, or else you crash the game quickly, worse for Fallout 4. Anything above a sprint for a bit could crash the game, especially with mods. But to be fair to Rockstar, even the train at the speed of light videos on PC still don't crash, just can't render fast enough.

GTA San Andreas’ map is approximately 38.2km2 and Red Dead Redemption 2’s is 53.8km2.

@@KingMasey 1. It isn't 53km2 the person that came up with that overlapped part of the map when making that calculation. 2. The person who also made that estimate includes massive amounts of inaccessible areas in that calculation. When drawing boxes around the map. So it isn't as large as you may think. Almost half of the Austin part of the map he included in that calculation overlaps with the other part so he counts parts of Austin twice in short, and contains inaccessible areas in both areas he calculated. So you can literally cut 6km2 off that calculation just from Austin alone. If you start including other areas the person lazily calculated it gets a lot worse. I will say between 20-30% of the other 'square' he used to calculate it is also not accessible. So doing that rough estimate the actual map size of RDR2 is more like 32-36km2. Shouldn't take a rocket scientist to see the 53km2 estimate is heavily flawed.
