I dont understand why they dont let the offense run through Kyrie. Luka was clearly having an off night yet he continued to shoot/drive till the last minute. Exum was able to hit those 3s but I think in such situations they need to to set up screens for Kyrie at the top instead of keeping him on stand by.

Luka iso ball isn’t sustainable come playoff time. He needs to learn when to chill and let his teammates cook. Unfortunately I don’t think his game has matured enough yet to beat teams like Denver or even Clippers. Exum, Gafford, Lively and even PJ are very valuable pieces for Dallas to make a deep run. Yes, it’s an oversimplification but it all comes down to how they regulate Luka-ball and how often they actually run plays on offense imo.

He got more assists for a reason as well like 5-6 more thsb normal time. And please stop being deluded, the team still shoot below par in 3s despite luka having a bad night. This game is on blow out fashion if luka hit extra 5 shots out of the 26,and they wouldnt have to play these extra minutes.

Offensively no one can criticize Luka, he is a majorncontributor on that end, but defensively is a whole different story. Luka looks like he doesn't know what he is doing, he has no lateral quickness, he can't stand in front of anybody, and he easily losses his coverages. That's why opposing teams are constantly trying to ,,hunt" him and exploit the mismatch.

Completely false. Doncic led the league in steals for a good stretch of the season last year and he's number 8 in steals this late in the season this year. Not only that, he's a very good rebounder, in the top 20, which is a bigger part of defense than blocked shots bec it stops the offensive possession whereas blocks often go right back to an offensive player. Doncic has also had quite a few good blocks this year. The "bad defender" narrative is false. People repeat it just bec haters can say nothing else so they repeat that over and over though the stats disprove them night after night.
