Okay, if you really love the game. If you really are like me. I am 62yrs old and not only did I come from a basketball family,but every since the age of twelve, I have been watching the NBA religiously. With that said, I must say Wemby is a phenomenon that is unlike anything I have ever seen in all my years. The scary part of his game is he's not only a two way player, but he has already not only won Defensive Player of the Year already, but if he stays healthy which is hard to do. I can see him winning it for a minimum of 12yrs straight. The other thing which is most important is he wins. The other thing is he plays best under 4th quarter pressure. And finally grown men,NBA professionals are intimidated by his mere presence on the court. It's that MJ effect. It's my ball. My court. My game. And your ass is mine. 🤣🤣🤣 Damn I am so appreciative to be alive to see it. We got loads of freaks and super freaks of nature in the league. And over the years, I've seen a many. But I must say, Wemby is off planet. His era is going to be that of an extraterrestrial coming to earth to enjoy human folly. 😝😝😝

Now there are 4 players at the top of my 'must see' list. Curry, Jokic, Porzingas, and now Victor! This kid is even better than we already see. 19 yrs old and he played 34 minutes against a top tier team, and on their court! The rest of the Spurs were incredibly efficient. Now we see a player with a supporting role, which works. the ball in the booker's hand and stands still on the marking, a very small posture for the player who is KD

Im a long spurs fan but I have to be honest since Timmy retired I have been lacking and then some debacles and finally manu retiring I didn’t watch spurs bball like a maniac like I used to, I really like soechan and keldon ( imo they are the key of how far this team can produce) but I barely watched them enough, Victor impact on d ( I see a lot of early focus on not jumping to block and running the floor , big Timmy d keys) and his advantage on offense this early make me see a good future, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if spurs make the playoffs and get to the 2nd round.

The Suns were a step (or two) behind the Spurs defensively for most of the game. Pop made some adjustments from the last game that paid off. Impressive for the Suns to tie the game but the Spurs maintained their poise and kept moving the ball, the Suns could not crack the Spurs ball movement. Want to see the Spurs in April going up against the best in the West maybe after a strategic trade or two.
