I have been watching you for years. I really appreciate all of the videos, but I remember when you were down and out and with a broken down motorhome and still having a good time. Really happy to see you prevailing in life and really being able to enjoy and be smiley and happy, rather then wondering if you were going to actually make it. There's also a Stonehenge replica in Nevada about an hour north of Las Vegas on Highway 93. (Kane Spring Rd Alamo, NV) And yeah, Kevin's right about Yorkie's are dogs for cat people. I have a Yorkie and 4 cats. :) ~db

On my summer trip thru Texas, I learned picnic sites have no bathrooms, and most rest areas do. Both areas allow you to park overnight. That is a plus.

My guess is that your passport is for cruising on a cruise ship since there is a port in Galveston texas. Cruises sail to Mexico and western Caribbean. They should have weekend and 7 day cruises. I think you'll like it.

Hey Eric what you need for the bathroom door to keep the door open is a door wedge you can buy them at a hardware store or make one from a two by four end.

Been to that Stonehenge thing several times, always fun to go see it. We home base at Lake Conroe, TX. There is so much to go see and do in Texas, you could spend a lifetime exploring it.

Hey Eric! For your bathroom door, loosen the hing and place a shim under it, such as pieces of paper then tighten the hinge. It’s probably the upper hinge, but you’ll have to play around with the thickness of the paper, card stock, or whatever it takes until the door works properly. Of course, it could just be that the screws are loose.

You were overlooking the Frio River and the HEB Foundation campground. HEB provides campground free of charge for non profits, churches, etc. Also summer camps for kids. The Laity Lodge Conference center. An amazing and beautiful place. We do have freezing weather in Texas, just not usually until Dec-Feb. Short winter with the chance of 90°in Feb sometimes. Crazy.

Traveling alone I always remove all the interior doors, makes a RV feel 20% bigger, they just get in the way and eliminates some extra weight.

I did that in my class say because the bathroom was along the side wall. But in these Tioga RV is, the bathroom is in the back and people walking by the front of the RV can just look in and see me pooping lol.

You speak highly of Harvest Hope. I will have to check them out. We cut down on some of are traveling due to fuel prices. South Carolina where I stay has mild weather during winter. We hit freezing sometimes. We actually had snow last year, but it didn’t last long. A lot of snow birds come through as they are headed for the beach and or Florida. I don’t like the weather to be too hot or too cold. I’m so excited for you going out the country. I hope you bring your camera. What are you going to do with the kitties? Ah, the IH 10 overlook just past the Gillespie County line, inside the Kerr County limits. Louise Hays park is 2 miles from my house if you ever need a place in Kerrville . Yes that is Lupe, the mascot for the City of Kerrville.
