My dad went to high school with John Madden… thank you for sharing this! John Madden would only travel by bus when he went from city to city as a football announcer. And in years past, when John would have been traveling, there probably weren’t many places to stop and eat on those long stretches of I-10.

I went through a border check in Yuma, AZ. I had gone through many many many times prior and they always asked state of residency. Well this one time they asked COUNTRY and I answered Arizona! I immediately started stammering wait you said country, I know Arizona isn’t a country, blah blah blah. The officer laughed and said I was free to go!

That’s funny. I can relate. I grew up in El Paso. Always knew what to say coming back into the states from Juarez, Mexico back in the day when it was safe to visit. However, coming back into the states from Canada I drew a blank! HAha I became confused somehow. Glad I’m not the only one.

Hi Eric! Great travels! The "flowers" on the cactus are fruit, called prickly pears or "tuna" in spanish. When they get ripe, some stay green and some turn red. You carefullly peel them (there is a method) and they are delicious with lemon juice and salt or just by themselves. You can also make a refreshing drink from them! Thank you for your videos! Hi kitties!
@oktophx2 жыл бұрын
And whatever you do you don't want to be touching the pears bare handed. You get those hairs in your hand you're not getting them out and they're quite painful. You can also eat prickly pear pads. There's a method for that as well.

I hate those in country "border" stops. The border is wide open yet citizens are stopped miles from the border. Stop the illegals and drugz at the border and quit stopping legal citizens within the country.

It's extra precaution to prevent drugs and illegals trying to come through that they may have missed at the border
