Love this song, San Cisco and Scarlett, but I have to disagree. Jordi's voice is sublime and I doubt they would have attained their early success without having him lead vocals. Honeycomb is an enjoyable track that certainly has its place in their catalogue, but very much one of an established group.

Sorry I'm not warming to this direction. I understand that artists have to tackle new realms but the previous album was wall to wall hits with great songwriting. I'm not sure why you would change direction. It's not awful, just very average. Others will feel differently of course and that's great. For me, I think it lacks the craft of songwriting previously seen. It's not warm. not emotional. It doesn't bring the listener along for the ride.

I also agree that it's not as strong as most of their previous work, but at the same time I think this song still has a place on the album. I find that a little bit of average helps all the gems pop, and maybe after enough listens, this one might polish into a gem too
