Its depressing how bands like this continue making high quality music and dont get recoginition and respect they surely deserve , and you hear people saying music is not it used to be , if only they bothered to dive deeper a lot of great music will be mainstream again
@hoarsemd Жыл бұрын
I'm thankful, cuz now I can actually afford their tickets. I never got to see Glass Animals or even AltJ in their roots, and now it's either expensive, or ruined by terrible crowds who start chatting away after the top songs

Good artist will never recognize cause it’s not part of their agenda.

Yes. I never dived into it until recently but that is Changing. The world is Changing. STRAP IN, TY FATHER 😊
@ronnie93794 ай бұрын
It's not that they aren't diving deeper, it's that they don't know to do that because their reality is being pushed onto them by mainstream. Mainstream wants to give you the impression that only mainstream exists. Music, celebrity, movies, products, and recently, the algorithms on the internet made it so you can only find mainstream sources, paid advertisers and stuff. You can no longer find independent hobbyist blogs or people simply giving education and information nearly as easily as you used to be able to.
@tanssi21454 ай бұрын
The beauty is that the average person is extremely accepting of conceptual bravery, it’s the streaming services, radio stations and syncers that sit around, drinking overpriced coffee in cardigans that think they’re the self appointed prime minister of culture and trends, spitefully flexing power over all of their ~musical~ ‘friends’ who were too talented to pursue brain rotting corporate curation like themselves

You were my introduction to Australian music when I first arrived in 2020. Listening to this song now, nearly four years later, brings back so many emotions, especially memories of the challenging move to Australia during the height of COVID. Music has a powerful way of affecting us, and this song fills me with gratitude for how far I've come. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Lyrics: I know that we need to talk Maybe we should take a walk round here I know that you’ve got things on your mind I’m sorry I don’t take the time to care You say you want things to change But they just stay the same, yeah It’s not in your head, There’s something in the air And when we disconnect, I still feel you there Could you love me (love me), one more time? Could you put it all (put it all), on the line? But you know I think we’ll be fine The disconnect is always there The stars we share are dead Do you see where I’m coming from? I guess you went and got it wrong again We come to a fork in the road Don’t know which way we wanna go down It’s not in your head, There’s something in the air And when we disconnect, I still feel you there Could you love me (love me), one more time? Could you put it all (put it all), on the line? And I try and I try and I try, And I try and I try- And I don’t know how to let go When this is all that I’ve known And our friends say we should move on Too broken, too fearless But I don’t want to give up on this When our lives are on the line Could you love me (love me), one more time? Could you put it all (put it all), on the line? But you know I think we’ll be fine Cause I try and I try and I try And I try and I try and I- Could you love me (love me), one more time? Could you put it all (put it all), on the line? (And I try and I try and I try) x3 And I try and I try, I And I try and I try and I try And I try and I try and I And I try and I try and I try And I try and I try, I
