San Diego Bluefin, Yellowfin, and Bonito Fishing

This was supposed to be another shot at tuna on the fly. I tried last year and was skunked. This year I decided to wait until I caught one on conventional then try on the fly. Unfortunately I also made the terrible decision to just rely on Dramamine and a relief band. Usually I use a patch but I don’t like the side effects it gives me. Big mistake. This was the most sea sick I’ve been in a long time. Enough I couldn’t fish 3/4 of the trip. But still ended up with some quality fish. And finally got to cross tuna off my list!

Nice tuna! Try Bonine for sea sickness. Works better then dramamine and less side effects. Take one the day before the trip and another 2-4 hrs. before getting on the boat. This way the medicine is in your system working ahead of time.

Thanks! I’ll give Bonine a shot…so far the only thing that has ever worked is the patch. But it has really bad side effects as well.
