I agree, if you notice in the video when he goes to the comic book side / independent vender side it's way less crowded that because those are the actual comic book fans and real comic Con goers.. the other side is regular peeps just wanting to go to cause it's the thing to do as well as the scalpers who wait and jump on exclusives to mark up on eBay later..

Yeah, I love the convention floor before the fans get in. I typically have a Pro and an Exhibitor badge, so I can get in super early! I haven't been in a few years though. I hope you have fun at the show!

Great footage man! That Guillermo Del Toro figure is nice, Neca puts out the best looking figures by far. They have some real detailed TMNT ones, but they're so expensive! Looking forward to more comic con footage, con videos are always my favorite videos from you.

I really appreciate you doing these Comic Con tour videos. I always thought it would be cool going there someday, but I can't deal with crowds at all. There's just way too many people there. Those lines are ridiculous and everyone is constantly shoulder to shoulder, bumping into each other. Still, it's a cool convention and you do a great job at showing as much as you can. Also, kind of have to laugh at how this convention started out revolving around comic books, and now that wing with the comic books is almost empty. Everyone's there for the film studio booths and figures. It really should be called Pop Culture Con or something now.

It's only for young people now. The crowds have become intolerable. How the SD fire marshal allows all the those people in there at once, I have no idea. If you are a normal person your chances of getting a badge are slim. You really have to know someone who works there.

LOL I think another name for that Pizza Place was "Showbiz Pizza", which I knew from "Chuck E. Cheese". So "NECA" made a figure of Academy Award winning Director Guillermo Del Toro. Fascinating, I wonder if they'll do other Directors in the future. I bet the crowd would go crazy for a Steven Spielberg figure. 😆

Doth mine eyes deceive me? Did not I see The Orville listed on that DVD pre-order booth? Yes, I did! Hopefully that'll be available on the blu as well, loving that show a lot. ComiCon looks like a lot of fun. I was able to get to a couple of Star Trek conventions back in the 90s, really enjoyed those a lot. Might have to try and make it to a ComiCon one of these years. That gorilla reminded me of Showbiz Pizza from when I was a kid, kind of imagine that'd have been a little something like this Party On Pizza mentioned here.
