Well Mikey you know that the skiff is my favorite thing you do. Great yellow catch, that was awesome. Shaker Halibut was nice too. On the rod you dragged up, I have salvaged several myself from Salt water and fresh. With a little bit of effort the rod is usually easy to put back in service. Sometimes the reel is a little difficult but it can be done depending on how long it's been down there. Overall the video made my day. I always look forward to you and Mark R in the solo skiff. Just made my first LJ yak session Saturday! You totally inspired me to get out there. Thank you brother! It was absolutely magical! I was pressed for time but so lucky to paddle out and fish with The Cinco Chignons....... Mauricio, Jose' and their crew. Such cool class act dudes! Insightful, informative, supportive, solid fun fishermen that shared the solid knowledge you don't get in college. Very grateful to fish with them and that they let me tag along.
