San Diego Halibut Huntin' (Caught Dinner!) | Hobie Lynx Kayak Fishing

Some good ol' times out on the water with good friends Andy and ‪@SDAnglersLife‬ doing some real bottom fishing with hookup baits targeting Hali's. My personal best day of halibut fishing so far and all on plastics and we even caught Dinner! A lot of off camera bass caught but figured some of you were tired of seeing it so switched it up, and I Hope you guys enjoy the video and I appreciate you all for tuning in and see ya next time.

Yeah I enjoy the fishery here but can’t wait to be back home fishing mangroves in FL. Hopefully soon I can break my PB halibut of 26” before I leave here

Such good action. Those sculpin are the best eating rock fish. I'm still bumbed out that I released that 18incher I caught in the Thanksgiving day video. But It was thanks giving so I was in a giving mood. Now I'm just hungry lol. Great Video 👍

Thanks man! Definitely a favorite eating so far since being here for the wife and I. Very nice white meat and the taste is great and multiple ways to serve. Don’t do a lot of catch and cooks though but sculpin is a must

I typically fish NSB but apparently mosquitoe lagoon is the place to hit these days so may have to give that a try
