Nice intro to the channel! Your solo hikes are never boring, you never run out of things to talk! Loved listening to you reflect back on 2024. It has been a year and then some! Lot of past traumas have been released this year but also gave us a chance to work through it. I have been working my way through a lot of my own traumas, abandonment issues.. Happy new year. Looks very dry around there. Good video, thanks for sharing. We can only look at how ewe deal with and react to things, what we need to adjust to, change and communicate. Happy new year! 🎉 Yes, it’s so dry here - the hills I am hiking in would be very similar to the hills burning in LA 😢 we have the same fire danger here as well and are so sad to watch the devastation going on both of us. Very true - we might not be in control of many things but we are in control of our own reactions and how we choose to deal with life! So glad the camera angles worked better with the stick this time!

Fortunately no, a few days ago it seemed a bit Smokey and Haze-y but clear blue skies mostly. We have the same extreme fire danger here 😢 a few years ago San Diego had neighborhoods burn down like LA has had - this hike was one of the areas burned back then… as you can see in the video - lots of dry brush…
