First of all, my man tried to drive with too many seconds left on the clock. You milk it down to one or take the violation!! By driving early, the block gave San Diego extra seconds to assess the situation and get a good shot off which they did... FAU , if you would have put the pressure on them by shot by leaving 5 seconds to push the ball up and rush a shot, chances are way better than the outcome.

I'm an Aztec fan and I was in shock when the ball went in. I didn't react. Wasn't FAU leading the whole game? How could State win in the final seconds? It looked like the game was over and FAU was going to win. I wanted official confirmation from the refs that the ball went in, and that the shot really did beat the buzzer before I allowed myself to celebrate. I thought there would be a review and the basket would be taken away because they didn't beat the buzzer. It happened so fast. WOW!

Davis for FAU shot the ball to early there were 4 seconds on shot clock...if he starts his drive a couple seconds later and shoots it with a second then SDSU has 3 less seconds to get the ball down the court and get a decent shot...

The two officials from Omaha Nebraska definitely did their part to help SDSU get the win. There were a lot of bad calls against FAU in the second half. And I am not an FAU fan. Some Omaha help to get the Omaha boy to the finals.

I saw that too and one call in last couple minutes was painfully obvious, so obvious network only showed replay once and one sportscaster even didn’t agree….but if you haven’t watched ( I have) sdsu has had a lot of “ favorable “ calls in their last three games, like you I’m not a fau fan but they were screwed tonight, just like last two sdsu opponents
