San Diego Trip & 2024 Goals

This year I'm trying to vlog more. And get out of our house! Because I can now! Because my body has had a COMPLETE RESPONSE to the cancer treatment!!!!! Ahhhh!!! It still doesn't feel real. Onwards! Here's a little look at our quick trip to San Diego and some thoughts on how I want to find my rhythm in 2024. Let me know what you think!

Most zoos do not have ethical standards when it comes to animal care but the San Diego zoo is highly accredited!! You were right that they have amazing conservation, sustainability, and research efforts. Thank you for bringing up the conversation about how polarizing zoos can be ❤

Tough start for my year with some surgery oof but i'm hoping goals wise (once i'm recovered) to get into the habit of writing more (if you ever do a video sharing your strats for writing i would love that) and exercise regularly again, i had a hard year re: my health (which this surgery has hopefully dealt with) and i just want to feel strong again.

Yay, so happy for you! I feel you on needing to find a rhythm again. I've been using one of those 90-day progress journals to manage my recovery and trying to get back to life after having a stroke. The undated kind, so I'm not wasting paper if there's a day where I just can't. I like the migoals 90-day Progress Journal because it's not loaded with exclamation points, but there are a bunch out there. I find it helpful when trying to remember all the little things I need to do along with progressing in getting better.
