It does look strange, but San Diego only has wires that can take pantographs. So they were kind of stuck

James Mohler Is it because the PCC is too low or the wires too high so the original pantograph couldn’t reach. I do see the original still on there. Couldn’t there be another pantograph that didn’t look so deep tho?
