Its safe too assume he doesn't have a hood pass everywhere then again it isn't the smartest choice to slide through any hoods recording especially w/o reaching out some one from there. Trust me its about 7 hoods and at least two dozen sections of those hoods he left out filming this...Cali has been under gentrification but it hasn't stopped everything shit street wise just more of the actual resident in some of these places, Shit still go down daily... S/O The view, Fillmoe, HP, SunnyDale , Alemany, The Mission, Potrero Hill, 6th street hell even crazy ass TL's & all the two or three dozens of sections in all the hoods I named & whatever else I forgot to name...

9:01 I lived there for a year. What a neighborhood. The first nine minutes of this video aren't really the rough spots, but once you're there in Bayview, up to Hunter's Point it's another world. The night after I moved in I was up at 1 AM watching Netflix with earbuds in and I heard about 20 gunshots that were so close I felt the concussion in my chest. I called the cops and they casually strolled in a half hour later and made fun of me for living in such a shitty neighborhood when I came outside to talk to them. At 9:42 if you look at the left side of the street where there's a house missing before the white one, that's where I lived in a flat with 4 other guys. After I moved out, there was a big fire and the landlord blamed it on my housemate Phil smoking cigarettes (the jury is still out on that one). It burned half the roof off but it looks like they tore it down now. I was renting half a bedroom there for $500/mo, just big enough for a twin mattress and desk, with a wall that was put up in the original bedroom so they could charge two tenants for their own "room." The guy on the other side of the wall had serious issues and would stay up all night talking to his cat and making weird noises playing on his computer. This was in 2014 and the guys you see sitting on the right at 11:52 have probably been there this whole time. This was the only spot in SF I could afford as an artist.

Hey potna, I was born and raised in Frisco up on Kiska Rd and then at 7 we moved to Shafter st. I just made 50yrs old. That wasnt a hood ride bruh. You gotta hit the Swamp, up on the HP hill, eddy st , mack block, the L's and to make it really on point play some RBL Posse and Cougnut and stuff while you bendin them corners.. Slap that beat potna!! from Dre' aka Twin

The hood in a place where rent is 4k a month for an apartment seems ironic. It is filled with homeless people who use the streets as a toilet.

Paula Johnson that’s still way to expensive to support middle income and low in come families, San Francisco knows what they’re doing, that’s all I’ll say...
@roadrunna00755 жыл бұрын
Paula Johnson I’ve been to SF 8 times and lived there for 3years, San Francisco is not crime infested at all because it has one of the lowest crime rates in the country. The government and developers made it a mission to displace low income minority’s families and flood in tech workers

If you want to see the Barrio the best places are North Fair oaks on the Peninsula and also you want to check out Redwood city. Hanky Panky are on El Camino Real and you should also check out Middle field Road on Redwood city. East Palo Alto is also a good place to check out.

The city is not pristine as one might think. Flossing too hard or fat mouthing on the wrong turf will put you in harm's way of a bare face jackin & pocket ripping.Now those are facts.

Honestly the gentrification of San Francisco and the ridiculous real estate speculation and the rising cost of living has really left no real hoods in the city. The residents who live on the properties shown in this footage probably have 3 figure salaries minimum with professional jobs but have to live in these "less desirable" areas which are actually highly desirable because any real estate in this city is desirable. It's a small city (7 by 7 sq mi.) with almost 900k people packed in. So these are definitely not the "hoods" in the sense most people associated "hoods" with in terms of demographics and crime. Those stereotypical hoods would lie in the East Bay in Oakland and out of the bay in Stockton.
@denisegriffin43435 жыл бұрын
You don't know what you're talking about. There are definitely hoods and criminals in SF what you fail to understand is SF is a tourist city so those greedy racist ass politicians do whatever needs to be done to keep the undesirable truths hidden in plain sight. Oakland is no worse then or better than SF hood is hood the only difference is the dynamics with regards to money & power say what you want but it's money in the hood particularly black hoods
