Great job guys! These routes have always been so entertaining to watch over the years from those who have been lucky enough to capture them. Like that one guys channel years back that caught the route when it was unlimited trash and a bunch of people just tossing boxes into the truck. Still a pretty dirty route though obviously. Thank you for the footage.

Wow thanks for getting this!!! I can't imagine what went through their minds when 3 guys walked up to them at 12am and asked if they could record lol but that was great they were so cool with it! I'm amazed how quiet the trucks are, guess the residents can't complain about noise now

@FresnoRefuseTrucks4 жыл бұрын
Nice, I like seeing them in the dark. I watched that dirty jobs episode too and things have changed. Everything is carted and no longer uses sack. When I went to Chinatown in 2016 they still used the sack deal and I only saw green carts out. Recology has done a lot to keep sf area clean, btw did you catch the recycling truck? I wished they sent the split out.
@gotpcfix4 жыл бұрын
Fresno Refuse Trucks they do send a split in a small part but the others have containers. We still use sacks for some of our inside accounts. I’m one of the guys on that truck by the way

Why is there that trash can on the back at all times
@cagarbagetrucks4 жыл бұрын
This route does have some stops where the smaller carts are considered "drive up" service, so the carts are located in the building itself, so they dump those carts into the bigger cart, then dump that cart into the rear loader.
@TheGoalie7124 жыл бұрын
@@cagarbagetrucks oh ok i always wanted to drive a trash truck in san francisco is it hard to memorize all that trash cans inside of the building?
@gotpcfix3 жыл бұрын
@@TheGoalie712 I’m one of the guys from the video. We use the can mainly to swap with the same size under garbage chutes so we don’t have to make multiple trips into buildings. It takes a couple weeks per route to get down the inside accounts. There is overlap for different commodities so it helps.
