a fun rebuild idea is a diamondbacks "need for speed" type of rebuild where you exclusively focus on getting positions players with over 85-90 speed, with a lesser priority for power pitching. it forces you to blow up a lot of the current core but they already have a lot of the players for it

I recently started focusing heavily on sending guys to the batting cages and I pretty much only send my pitchers to pitching coach sessions unless the clutch is super low and they’re a reliever and I’ve been having crazy development from guys who I didn’t even expect
