It was so nice to see Pier 39 again. I was there in 2019 during the time we were there for my niece's wedding. My husband was with me and my daughter and her boyfriend and we had a great time! Good memories. My husband has since passed away, but I will always have great memories of our journeys together. And we were in San Francisco way back in 1973 when we were newlyweds, too. My husband's aunt and uncle lived in a little town outside of San Francisco and that is the first time we were out there. I'm so grateful for my memories. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with me. I really enjoyed this video!

I don't care what ANYONE says about the city, San Francisco remains a beautiful place to visit, so much to see, rich in diversity! We are fortunate to be able to go there whenever we please, thanks to BART.

Please don't be naive. There is a HUGE reason for the mass exodus from the state. Why do you think major stores have left? Westfield Mall, Whole Foods, Old Navy and Nordstrom, and the majority of major tech, banking, oil companies, airlines, etc. There is a 35% vacancy downtown. Rather than defend it, you should advocate making it better?

Thank you for sharing your Pier 39 excursion! I've been to San Fran many times, on both personal and business, and we always loved Pier 39 and the great vibe. We took our daughter and her friend to The Fairmont Tonga Room for their show, and I've stayed at the Mark Hopkins. Each time we visited SF it was a different, unique experience. And the surrounding areas like Big Sur, Monterey, Pebble Beach, just so beautiful! What a fun trip for you!

OMG!! I really enjoyed this walk thru. Great memories for me. It's been over 40 yrs since I visited this pier. I remember the pearl place & them trying to upsell me!😂 I kept that single pearl in a tiny plastic bag for years! (And the wax lips!😅😂)

I wish you guys would go into Marin! Just north over the golden gate! There are so many food gems and so many beautiful places there and beyond, all the way into Bodega Bay! I grew up in Marin. I could share so many spots to go eat! Also, the best breakfast place ever in Novato called Marvin’s.

At the Japanese Deer Park in Buena Park Decades ago.. I got 3 black pearls, and the vendor wanted to buy the biggest one from me.. $11 😊. The pearl was only $3 😝

Abba Zabba was always my favorite in the 60's. Also liked Look bars. Used to buy the candy cigarettes in the 50's and pretend to be "cool" and smoke like my parents. Luckily I never smoked real cigarettes!! Used to get the salt water taffy (and fantastic smoked fish) at the Pierpoint Pier in Long Beach. We have a "Rocket Fizz" store here in San Clemente, CA but I've never been in it yet. They supposedly have a lot of classics.
