I miss the old Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts. That place was much more internally oriented -- better for focusing on the exhibits.

@@dennisfraudman9847 Did you know the Roundabout at the old California Academy of Sciences? It was one of my favorite places but it was demolished when it was replaced by the new science museum in Golden Gate Park. I always loved going into that dark ring with all the fish swimming past. Around and around they went, the whole thing was illuminated by skylights over the circulating water.
