I was at the same exact gate as shown in 35:38 January 6th, 2020, the day I left my home island. I was traveling as a minor at the age of 13 and in that exact gate I said with sadness goodbye to my mom, it was so hard saying goodbye and leaving PR and pausing at the frame of that gate made me imagine the day and the moment I was there. Btw great video!

I was at this airport in April to visit some family. We flew jetBlue and when we arrived and got our tickets, we looked at the seats on all of them and we where all scattered around the plane besides 2. My mom and brother got to sit together, but my step-dad, step-sister, and me all had to sit in a separate seat, I sat next to 2 strangers but they where super nice the only downfall was that the guys wife didn't like the window and had it closed the who flight. I was close to crying but I held myself up. The flight was majorly delayed and we got on at 4AM. We where supposed to go way earlier but some big storms at our destination where delaying us. I love Puerto Rico and an pumped to visit family again!

Could you have spend the night at the airport or its not allowed?

There is a hotel at the airport, you can spend the night there but not in the airport without the same day ticket. It has happened depending on the situation that people have stayed the night on the airport floors but since the airport is private they reserve the right to allow you or not.

They should not give you an issue but you should contact the airport facebook page to make sure nothing has changed

Nice video! We want to take a trip to PR, but we have a friend that only has a California ID! Is the CPB asking for passports? I didn't see you pass thur any inspections.

They only ask for passports if you don't have a state ID, real ID are going to be a requirement in Oct. 2021.

I passed through inspection at the beginning once you get your ticket, we can record that part since its federal

Thanks for the replied back. Ok so we do need a passport? My friend only has a CA ID no passport. Work permit expired 9/2020, we just want to make sure the inspection/ ICE won’t give her an issue.
