Very nice, but I think I see why the bass saxophone fell into general disuse. The only time I saw one was in the Stan Kenton Mellophonium orchestra. It was limited to bass tones to provide a more full low end and to offset the screaming trumpets. .

Whilst this is obviously a sub-par recording, using the built-in mic makes for a very interesting experience wherein the viewer gets to see/hear the nuts and bolts of a work. It is most interesting if you know the original well.

A valid comment, but I would imagine it's quite likely that the person who made the recording may not have had the opportunity available to them to move to a more optimal spot in the room. A scenario where a better recording might have been possible with the same equipment in the same room, but the person didn't have the opportunity to move.

This band is not as good as the Bratislava Hot Serenaders when they play Whiteman.
