Man I haven’t fished the San Luis revisor since I was a kid, an I live 10mins away from it! I literally pass it daily for work, makes me want to get out there again!

@@trussmoutdoors I live in Sacramento. I used to go to that lake fishing years ago. We usually fished by the dam area, but some times, we fished by the south side of the lake. We would walk for miles to fish, usually at night. About 20+ years ago, I switch to a local lake near by (New Hogan Lake), I can keep 10 fish and no size limit. Fishing is a good hobby and I enjoy it.

@@txawjvwjvang we used to do that but now and days we stop fishing at night because too many break into cars, gas tank drill n others. I want to go New Hogan but never been there so don’t know where to start. Do fish bite if I just walking on the shore and fish like I do at SLR

@@trussmoutdoors Fishing at New Hogan Lake is different. Most people fish from boat: trolling, casting, chasing the fish boil or fish at night using night light. Some fishermen keep any size, but some only keep the big ones-17 and up. It is a very safe lake, gate open in the early morning and close at 9pm. No one can go in after 9pm, people can come out. Fee per car is $5 per day, same rate for boat. May to October is a good time to fish there.

Let see if I can do this. You see when I was up the top and point the stick say we will start from there and keep going, that’s where it at. Should be a big open parking lot before the lake cross under highway 152. That’s where you want to park and go down then fish to your left
