This time we headed to the city of San Miguel Del Monte.
Brief history of its origins:
The origins of Monte date back to the advance of the Spanish on the Pampas plain in the mid-18th century. To delimit the border lines with the natives, defensive redoubts were created that in some cases became forts or forts.
These are times when Monte is the center of intense activity, especially political, through the figure of Juan Manuel de Rosas.
Faced with the constant attack by raiders, vigilance was of paramount importance for the landowners of the region. Juan Manuel de Rosas formed a defense group to secure the border and created, in "Los Cerrillos", the cavalry corps called "Los Colorados del Monte", named for the color of their uniforms and made up of approximately 600 armed men, among which were laborers, countrymen from neighboring ranches and the people of the Guardia del Monte.
On March 22, 1833, the left wing of the Army left the Guardia del Monte to carry out the “Campaign to the desert”, to conquer new lands for livestock production and achieve a peace agreement with the aborigines. Leading Los Colorados del Monte is Juan Manuel de Rosas. This campaign will last three years. Thus, the first eight families that gave rise to the town arrived on May 21, 1780, in five wagons escorted by a group of militiamen. These families were made up of a total of 42 people. Thus, the first foundations of the urban population of Monte, adjacent to the fort, were established.

Muy lindo san miguel del monte vivi en mi infancia 1 año y pase unos momentos hermosos, con 8 años nos vinimos a Vivir al sur, ya pasaron 10 años.
