Oh wow this one tugged at the heartstrings!!! Our neck of the woods ❤️ I have itchy feet now… Il Casale where you stopped, next to Johnny’s pizzeria is one of my favourite restaurants, it’s lovely out of season too because the building inside is beautiful to eat in, my new favourite is Fa Tu right on the edge with an amazing view, it’s also beautiful inside, always packed and queues outside in the summer so you have to book, there’s lots of amazing bars and restaurants in beautiful San Nicola, it’s especially magical in the evening. Thankyou for these videos guys, I love them 🤗

Very nice. Out of season you have the whole beach just for yourselve. And although for Italian people the water is too cold to swim, me and my wife wouldn't hesitate to just take a short refresh dive into the sea. Water temperature should be around 15 Celcius / 59 Fahrenheit. I liked the way you filmed, as if we would join you in the walk. I love it how you’ve been going to different places showcasing all the beauty and the community of each town. I truly appreciate it because I’m coming to visit for a month in April and you’re helping me build my “To Do” list, lol. Other than Santa Domenica Talao and Scalea, San Nicola Arcella is now also a town I’d consider buying a home, although I’m beginning to realize that it probably wouldn’t matter where I would settle, all of Italy is just fantastic. Fantastico! Sorry I missed today’s adventure! With you. Yes, the weather here in southern Italy was so nice today. It is only February, but sunny, and warm. My friend, Girt’s and I spent the last two days sitting on my terrace enjoying the mountain and sea views, discussing the state of the world, and rectifying all that needs to be righted! At least in our opinion. He also did his handyman thing and helped around my home installing new cabinet handles, ceiling fans, etc. All for the price of a birra! Such fun! See you soon! ❤️🇮🇹

Ciao, Justin and Michael! Thank you for another great video! Would you consider doing a video on the best ways to get to Scalea from the States? Is it better to fly into Naples or to Rome then take the train to the Scalea area? Is there a closer major airport to Saclea that you guys fly into? Can you get by in Scalea and the surrounding area using public transportation or do you guys recommend renting a car? Thanks again for all the great videos!

We answered these questions in our past Q & A in various spots. We suggest USA flights to Rome (best options and lowest fares, even nonstop options), rent car in Rome , take easy toll highway to Scalea (lovely 4.5 hr drive). Even stay a night in Rome (or near FCO airport). Tolls are low. That's our tip!
