I used to ride a 9 ,6, 1967 Harbour banana model that weighed about 25 lb. One day at Sano I was having the session of a Lifetime on this board, just killing it, better than I ever surfed in my life, and when I got to shore a group of people in matching wetsuits complimented me and asked me to go out with them later. I asked them who they were and they said they were the Herbie Fletcher surf team and that Herbie had been filming me for my entire session. So somewhere Herbie Fletcher has video of my best day at san o.. later in the day he came up and filmed me cooking food on a cook stove with the surfboard as my table..

Classic! Mahalo for sharing - My first two boards were Harbours (a mid-length and a shortboard). San O is rich with stories like yours - And hope it keeps providing them for folks for a long time to come.
