San Sebastián

At the end of the 19th century, Queen Isabella II chose San Sebastián as her summer residence. The city developed into an elegant seaside resort, the main summer destination for the Spanish aristocracy and bourgeoisie and therefore also an important holiday resort for aristocrats from other parts of Europe.
