Cooking on stove or electric looks modern and more comfortable but let me tell u from my experience we can't never replace the meat cook from firewood. So, our regular meal will be cook by gas or electric but when it come to cooking meat we prepared the old fireplace. The taste is somehow different.

What goes into Machal (garam masala)?

'Machal' is the name of a local spice company. The one we used is a grounded mixture of spices which include Coriander, Black Pepper, Cumin, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger & Garlic Powder etc. At least, these are the ingredients that is written on the packaging.
