@joodz10 korean choir singing style and philipino one is very different. the former is tent to sing classical works. their traing is for classical singing, bach, Handel, verdi's requiem. and classical lyric songs. philipino one has more flexibility. they can sing every casual works in a various ways. if you don't like authentic classical singing, philippno choir is your choice. if you like classical master peace performance, korea is better. cheque for "chai hoon cha choir messiah" or "daejon

Hello po. Mayroon po. Ako po dati ay throaty at madaling kapusin. Noong natrain ako sa choir, then sa opera, nagamit ko na po siya sa pagrap, sa banda or pop singing. I was just a basso profondo and bass before pero ngayon, I can sing Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, Bass and Basso Profondo. The weakest of which is soprano and the strongest is bass. Thank you po. Talent is what talent is, they are good, very good and it should not matter whether they are filipino or otherwise. I am filiipino and am proud of them, they sing so well even people here in Canada who do not understand the lyrics are moved by the melody. nuff said....

In 1997 they won first in the European Grand Prix de Chant festival in Italy. 2006 they joined the Grand Prix de la Ville in France and they won first again. In 2007 They won it again. Last Sept 2010 They were given the prestigious Guidoneum Award in Italy. They are the most Internationally known chorale in Asia. Your comments doesn't make any sense at all.

i agree. besides, the madrigal way of singing has often been more of secular/pastoral themes. handel and the others are more of church music composers (did they ever compose polyphonic pieces?). but filipino choirs are more than capable to sing these kinds of pieces.
