Amit Kumar is very impressive in this song, with perfect pitching and perfect voice modulation. His voice control is so good. While, Alka sounds a little louder in this song, even though her voice is very melodious, her pitching and voice modulation is not up to the mark with that of Amit. If we observe carefully, she simply follows what Amit does in the song. Btw, Amit and Alka is a nice combo. 'Jao tum chahe jahan' song, from Narasimha, is also a hit duet song of Amit and Alka, from 90s. Another sweet romantic duet of Amit and Alka, which I often listen, is 'Dheere dheere chori chori', from 'Imtihaan', even in this song too Alka followed up Amit. Amit Kumar has highly masculine bass voice, but he sang this song so softly with full of feelings and emotions. I still wonder why Amit Kumar quit Bollywood in mid 90s, he was such an amazing versatile singer. Not only in 80s, but in 90s too, he gave many hit songs. He was so impressive in the songs like 'Kaisa lagta hai' with Anuradha Paudwal, 'Tip tip tip barish shuru ho gayi' with Asha Bhosle, etc. These two songs completely belonged to Amit Kumar's superb singing abilities. He brilliantly dominated Anuradha Paudwal in 'Kaisa lagta hai', and even he overshadowed the legendary Asha Bhosle in 'Tip tip tip barish shuru ho gayi'.

Shot in Mauritius in 1990 !! That Bollywood has been finished. The filmmakers of today are NOTHING compared to the filmmakers of ‘80s & ‘90s ( Late Mukul Anand) & others ( Subhash Ghai, Rajiv Rai, Rajkumar Santoshi, Late Raj Kanwar, JP Dutta, Rahul Rawail, Mahesh Bhatt etc). First it was the internet & now OTT bringing content over content which has made it impossible for Bollywood to stay the same. No music only trash noise, no comedy, no villains, no action, no story. Just pathetic, dull & boring stories.
