I see this is a six year old post. However i am inclined to reply as it is the most i have seen of seriously well done choppers . A great walk around video of tasteful machines. Listening to the band was enjoyable as well. Great looking bikes. Thank you to post all these years ago.

Saw this years ago. It has now come back around. Gotta appreciate a gathering of choppers is exactly that. Ain’t nothin’ like riding a well built one. Even U-turns aren’t so bad. A little clutch, a little throttle, and little rear brake and around she comes. Gotta look where ya wanna go tho.

@@FHoitomt Wow! Here in Ontario Canada, I dont know anyone who cleans them that much. I usually Wipe it down once a week and a full clean after riding in the rain. BTW, nice bike(s) Very different style than we have.

No handling or steering, especially the bikes loaded up on one side with the ridiculous saddle bag. Very few have a front guard let alone a fork brace, sorry not for me. I prefer riding not idling, nice to look at but that’s the limit.

:-D :-D :-D my bike, the yellow one, the winner of loongest fork last 2 years, l drive more than 2 0000 km every year... :-)
@pub60236 жыл бұрын
2 trophies won’t help it go around corners at speed, you can’t honestly say those forks have helped the handling and steering. I’m a live and let live type of person, so whatever blows your hair back is fine. I respect your enthusiasm and efforts but as I said not for me. My 99 FXSTC with an extra 5 degrees rake and 2 inch over fork legs is a pig in the fast twists so I can only imagine what your geometry is like.

@@pub6023 lm so glad we all are diffrent and like diffrent stuff, cars, bikes girls.... :-D, and to say that a bike is not for me is ok for me but when people says its not for use??? Without ever tried somthing like it, makes want to explain.
@pub60236 жыл бұрын
Frode H true that, over the years I’ve had the opportunity to ride some radical bikes with extended forks but nowhere near the extreme you guys have taken this modification. Based on those experiences I am certain this is not for me, the mods I made to my 99 with 5d rake and 2” over as mentioned did not help my handling at all...... at 150 the front end wanted to shake its head before I put 2x steering dampers and a fork brace on it, now 170 ok. Into the twisties it’s not the same bike, had to adjust riding style and speed significantly due to the front end and mine was a minimal chase the chopper look adjustment. The positive out of my front end mod was the extra disc and the cool stance of the bike, the negative is the handling went south by 5/10%. Would I do it again, fuck yes! To your extreme, fuck no! All the best Frode H

l have now sold my chopper after 4 great years , great and with more than 20 000 km every year ,but 19000 of the alone :-) no suspension makes it hard for my wife on the back seat , and now we have a goldwing :-) and there is 2 diffrent type of hapiness driving those 2 bikes , on the goldwing l have the touring,(31000 km this year 29000 with my wife ) the trip that makes me happy togheter with my wife , but on the yellow chopper the DRIVING give me a enourmus pleasure , just and only the handling of the bike , and ike you said after 150 km there is not much fun but in Norway or scanidinavia, the speed limit outside highway is 80 kmt and in this speed limit there is no,NO fun with a bike that handles to drive in 300 kmt .... but on the chopper its hard enough somtime to handle the speed limit att 80 kmt , and that makes my chopper the funniest, most exiting bike to drive , have to work hard and look for the bumps in the road , look for almost everything so the bike dont throw me of , and with suecide clutch and jockey shift its even hard enough to stop :-) so THIS bike realy entertain ME , not my wife ;-)
