Something that came to mind when we consider the fact that Jesus doesn't pray us out of the fight is how often people complain about our heathenistic and pagan culture. The reality is that is the culture God has sent you in to preach to! Christians should rejoice at the reality that the harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few. Instead of complaining about the lack of believers in the pews on Sunday lets go out into our vocations and preach the good news! Do the work Jesus has us here to do and pray that He continues to add laborers to His harvest.

Since graduation and confirmation is upon us, I think I'm going to talk about Jesus preparing the disciples for life without them. Much like we have been preparing these kids in the church.
