Sand casting an Ipswich town football club badge from molten aluminium - asmr

Interesting, nice casting, puzzled why you hammered the pattern into the drag though instead of putting the pattern on the table & ramminng the sand into the pattern that way you'd get a better finish. just a thought.

Hi thank you for you question and I’m glad someone picked up on that. Basically the pattern I had made up was far to deep and if I would of put it in first the definition would of just stayed in the 3d print and ripped out of the sand so I decided to press it into the sand. You left the sprue on the one and it stands up. Nice casting. I couldn't read the badge. I saw ''football'' in the lower left ''corner'' what was after that and what was on top?
