You are. A friend of mine bought a new house with some land to the back ending on a cliff. He was evaluating the thing with an engineer to make it secure when it all collapsed and my friend died. Some times life seems really stupid...

@@ntbrito That is just horrible. The cliff I was referring to was probably 70 feet tall with a pond below it. We dug a narrow path out about half way up and carved large indentions into the hard sand and sat in there and shot frogs with our BB guns that were in the pond below. It sure seems crazy now, but we did have a lot of fun there. The sand was real hard and stable so I think the biggest danger was falling 35 to 40 feet into the water.

This is pretty common where I live in United States they have gravel pits when they fill trucks they take scoops from face of the hills and they are often falling and they are gravel and some humongous rocks too... The ground shakes. I used to climb these and it was a feeling you get to move fast then huge pieces of earth much larger than that would come crashing down. Sometimes smaller rocks would fall first to warn me it was coming. All day that happens in some places with tall cliffs of sand and gravel... Amazing.
