3M Primer 94 supposed to increase adhesion with vinyl wrap but I've never tried it, but planning on it soon. Then clay bar entire car.

I saw this trick someone did on another video where he lightly torched or heated bare plastic bumpers to open up pores allowing for better wrap adhesion. Not sure if it works for kbd tho

How do you get it completely dust free when it is sanded? Like ALL of the "dust" that the car will have even after washing it really thoroughly. It is like the sanded paintwork attracts every dust particle in the vicinity...

I think you should sand with hot string. It's a liguid . Sand is good also. Just wash with hot string and water.

Luv your Vlogs. Through one of your episodes, I found out you’re right in my neighborhood or not too far. I’m off Greenback. I’ve got a 2017 Ford Fusion. First thing everyone does when they see my 240sx is check the dash. Then they are shocked that its not cracked. I think it has its flaws but most people don't armor all the dash anyways.

I got a car with a half ass paint job, how do i test if the paint will stick and if it is bad paint should I sand the whole car ? Also how would you go about wrapping a car with paint sanded off?

Thanks for that comment i had to read the auomotive primer i have just now and it says do not use on galvenized metal, i got the regular automotive primer but i sand blasted the hoods paint completely off, i may have to do it again

Bare metal should be primed with epoxy primer.

I mean how do u decide if it really needs to be sanded or not? Im about to wrap a 1997 Honda accord. There’s small little nicks in the paint but it’s not too bad.

If you can feel it, than it needs to be sanded down. If after sanding down to bare metal and you still feel it, you have no choice but to fill it (bondo).

Use a red scotchbrite with ajax not a brush. Also bare metal needs an epoxy primer

What grit sanding discs do you use before wrapping your cars?

1000 grit but you have to start with 400, 600 and then go to 800 before doing the final finish, then clay bar the junk off so it wraps on clean
