"SAND PSYCHO" NEW ARRMA TalionDR 6s Basherqueen Desert Racer!!!

Hell on wheels, sand slayer desert beast with ridiculous speed and silky smooth handling. Huge thanks to Basherqueen for another genius idea with this brutally tough and well engineered body conversion option!!! Run #1 was a blast despite some electrical hiccups. Fortunately my orange motor lead simply needed cleaning and splaying of the connector prongs. Thanks also to M2C Racing and Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA.

Loving this TalionDR by BQ 😍. Figured out the glitching and power cuts. My orange connector had come loose under the heat shrink tubing 😂. It got so hot the tape glue melted into the connection. Had to splay the prongs and carefully clean everything with alcohol and fine steel wool. Good as new again with full power and no glitching 🚀🚀

Same desert body perhaps, but completely different mounting with CNC bits she designed herself plus Fireteam bumper and 6s wheelie bar included. I wouldn't consider that a copy. This kit is Kimberly's concept and a great one at that 😍

i still have blx esc / motor in my kraton, cant believe how long that thing has lasted. i put it up there with any castle setup. just had to put a blob of silicone on the rear to stop it from slapping the chassis. 😎👍

I swear the old m2c chassis were made out of a different material than the new ones. I've had multiple old chassis go through complete hell and back. But I've bent 2 New 6s chassis. In the past year. Doing the same stuff I've done with the others. One of which was landing on a rock in my yard. And I've hit the same Rock multiple times with my old V4 kraton with an older chassis never even flinched. It is an old black anodized m2c chassis. So that's reference for how old it is. Not that landing on a rock is the trucks fault. They are still way better than stock I just fell its different grade. Maybe with all the supply issues we had awhile ago there way a change of venders. Idk....That body set is killer. You did a great job going into all the details and your setup thank you for that. Great video Rich keep them coming bash on brother

Thanks so much Jesse 😜. Bending an M2C chassis is very difficult 👀. Normally it would only happen with a brutal high speed mishap (solid object) with a chassis brace failure or their attachment points. M2C hasn't changed suppliers to my knowledge. They still source the best 7075 T6 available. The cost of raw materials went up, but that happens like fuel costs. Having damaged motor mounts from flex over time, I've changed my thoughts about not running a T to T brace over the past year. Actually added a Basherqueen one to my K6s EXB just for that reason. I think with rock landings it just depends. The hope is that the chassis flexes and returns to form of course. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Brother 😜. Absolutely loving this DR look. Feels very solid with perfect fitment. My wood ramp is 30" tall, 42" wide, and has a 6.5 ' transition. Top sheet is about 60" long. Designed to fit in my minivan. I did an HD ramp build video on it awhile back. The Mega ramp is almost 6' tall, 6' wide, and much longer with a larger transition. It's a 2 piece construction that stacks together. My buddy Ian built that one 👀🚀🚀

Awesome bash as always you and Eric always have the best videos🤘🏽 in the middle of my talion build got m2c beef cake kit and all of basher queens upgrades including bulkheads I have a new max8g2 esc 2250 combo I was gonna put in it but with all of upgrades and bulkheads was worried about truck being a bit heavy also have backflip lps on it, running 50t spur and 15 tooth pinion was wondering what your opinion on that set up would be!? Thanks Cody 🤗. Haven't tried the new HW 2200 gen 2 yet. I generally use the 2200kv in my lighter Typhons. Might get a bit toasty in an upgraded Talion with Backflips. Might try a 14T and see how temps go. 🍻

@@ThaRatchet I misread about the smaller Backflip LP's. The 2200 might be fine with low enough gearing. It's definitely a fast and smooth motor 😍. If that's breaking 150-160F too easily, any 4274 size 2000kv motor should work. Maybe a 4082 1720 Rocket or similar size Hobbystar rated for 6s of course.

Thanks Brother 🤗. Yes, I still vent belted tires and tape over the rim holes. You won't damage the belt if you use sharpened 1/8" aluminum tubing in a high speed drill. The other way is using a Dremel and RotoZip multi purpose 1/8" bit. It literally burns a hole through rubber 😱. Just takes a steady hand. 🍻
