Now this look like a damn fun game. I played Last Oasis during its peak, and as cool as it was... It never looked this polished. The direction your team is taking this game is beautiful. The UI is looking great, the mechanics are sensible, and walker building looks logical and fun. I would do dirty things to get into this playtest.

Guns of Icarus was a great game. Sadly the community was too small for the servers to stay lucrative for it's developers. Remember my friends and I had a great team flying on a mid-close range ramming ship that sneaked it's way up close to other ships and destroyed them from the rear.

@@BlondieKZbin The community was fine the devs weren't, they spent 3 years making a game mode that didn't live up to any of their promises (it was meant to contextualise PvP combat as fights over resources) that divided the big enough community and generated zero additional sales. I quit when they sponsored Jon Tron for an advert video and his community made it not worth playing for a few months, I just didn't feel like coming back and though I can't confirm anyone else has the same story, it really seemed to me like the game never recovered from that and went from enough people that there were always real matches open to absolute nothing.

I tried to get into games like Tarkov and Marauders because they interested me so much, but the forced PvP with a community of no life players ruined both for me. I only have a few hours in a day to play games and I don't want those precious few hours to be spent getting demolished because I quite literally do not have the time to get good

Indeed. I've been wanting a crossout style game with the single player open endedness of Kenshi. Where you slowly amass parts for your fleet of vehicles, and can hire drivers to join your gang of wasteland marauders. Kenshi + Crossout + this game's hab module system. Make anything from tiny scout vehicles to mortal engines. That's the dream.

Sea of Thieves would benefit from a proper PvE-focused mode, but mainly because the combat is so janky and uneven there. However, I have a feeling this game is more modern, and will feature much better combat, which is why I'm actually waiting for the PvP battles. (And haven't received an invite yet!)

Looks great and requested access! Honestly love how the trampler sits on angled slopes, that's quality stuff 👌 I'm sure you have lots of ideas in the pipeline, but to just chip in a few if they haven't been thought about already; -sandstorms and other environmental chaos -ability to burn twice/or some other type of fuel on a short reserve to cut smoke trail to attempt to escape behind dunes -mechanical arm/harpoon attachment that can lock step with other tramplers to allow boarding and hand-to-hand -npc tramplers from some evil third party or something for lore Can't wait till this comes out! Good luck with all the development scopes :)

saying that, one suggestion is making the things jerk and sway with their steps, maybe with more legs giving a smoother ride. but it'd both be good in that it would make aiming weapons require skill from gunners and helm and would feel really cool. also if its a mechanic that individual legs can be disabled having that change the gate and make it lurch with each step more would make it tactical to target the legs not just to slow an enemy but mess with their aim.

Looks absolutely awesome. It honestly reminded me of my first time stepping into a Star Citizen ship. I loved how you controlled the sand trampled, and the esthetic is fantastic. I never mind pvp, but I am more of a chill pve person who loves cargo hauling. Will your game feature special load outs for cargo hauling, mining, and junking other destroyed tramplers? I think you could have an insane gameplay loop for creating a personal oasis that you can house and defend. I look forward to seeing more.

Some cool features I would love to see would maybe be resource upgrades (solar for slow sustain or coal/biodiesel burning for fast consumable), drones (security bots for that go on the ground or air, repair bots for the Trampler, scouting bots that fly or can detect vibrations in the sand. scavenging bots to scrap and obtain stuff), weapon upgrades (like cool spider arms to collect stuff and attack, or more turret types; various ammos), interactive modules within (love that you can move around and see the stuff first person!) like radars or various scanners with different types like infrared/sound/radio/lidar, long term resource production and consumption (green house for food, energy converters + batteries with upgradeable tiers, rainwater collector and filtration; water recycling and treatment), 3d printer module to produce things more efficiently?, armor tiers with discoverable tech for upgrades, AI ship control for automated navigation or various automations and 'smart suggestions' to offer you as like a copilot, maybe even a civilian train to protect filled with some people but they research new prototype techs for you or something, various terrains and mobility upgrades to help navigate those (floating stuff for water areas, climbing for boulders for example, suspension improvements), control center for choosing missions during downtime (not sure if you already have something like this but the idea of a safe mobile base seems so cool), camera feeds and specific event management, nerdy data like time/weather/environment qualities; Various engine modes like electric, fuel or hybrid. Catastrophic weather systems like floods or extreme heat. Just some ideas that I've always imagined for a dream game of my own, but this looks really cool and close to my imagination. A game that inspired my thoughts was called Fear Equation where you run and upgrade a train and a team of scavengers from a single control car. Hope this game gets expanded and keeps up, looks really interesting.

Hell the first artillery like the shit you’re thinking of (id hope) didn’t even rear its ugly head till around 1907 and was popularized in the eve of WW1. So unless you’re saying that until loosely 100 or so plus years after the advent of the very word artillery, that the shit didn’t even exist (which is going to take a hell of a degree in bullshitter) I’d suggest you think a lot more broadly at just how shit firearms were when the word was written and even just how shit they are now. That all said, I believe the original poster was referring to mortars and the like, which would be pretty sweet to have, I cannot lie.

Very interesting game! I've always wanted some kind of game like this I think. I've envisioned it being dirigibles in the air, with big, slow, beefy world war 1 cannons on it, but I'll take a sand crawler too! Just need to make it more interesting than being on the crawler all the time. Make the sniping difficult, have a healthy bit of bullet drop, slow bolt action rifles. Give people places to go on foot too, people like to have fights on the ground over objectives. Make the Trampler progression gradual, and rewarding, and if you can include nuance to make Tramplers specialize in interesting ways, there could be a lot of potential behind this idea. Maybe when you're on foot, your Trampler can lower itself onto the ground as a mobile front-line base, with the added bonus of lowering its profile, and maybe some kind of bonus to defense until you hop back on and reactivate it. Maybe one Trampler specializes in slightly faster respawns and gives you special ammo for the first clip. Maybe another is more like a field medic tent and can give you slight health regeneration, or if it's like call of duty, faster out of combat to regen back to full sooner, and maybe you can also revive your teammates that go down in the field by interacting with them. What if another had a small run-way and allowed for small fighter planes with limited ammunition and maybe a small bomb or two, so they have to return to re-arm occasionally?

I hope they add a lot of unique compartments that you can either unlock, craft or find so that you can have a very specialised trampler. Stuff like a cockpit (like He 111 bomber cockpit), vehicle bay for a small scouting vehicle, a balloon that’s tethered to your trampler, radio room that gives approximate locations of other tramplers. Just some ideas. Also I really hope we don’t just have a small, medium and large trampler base. Some unique mobility options would be cool.
