Hi campers! In this video we camped at Sandbanks Provincial Parks in Prince Edward County, Ontario. This video includes a Sandbanks Provincial Park review and tour to help any future campers know more about the park. We also ventured into PEC to try out a brewery and winery!

Sandbanks offers over 500 car campsites in five campground areas: Outlet River A & B, Cedars in the East Lake sector, Richardson’s in the West Lake sector and the Woodlands Campground located between East and West Lake sectors of the park. Campsites in these campgrounds accommodate equipment ranging from tents only to large trailers. Amenities such as water taps, comfort stations and laundry facilities are close by.

Three expansive sandy beaches that some say are among the best in Canada; Outlet Beach is perfect for families, with shallow waters and gentle drop off
Location jutting out into Lake Ontario means that this park is a bird migration hotspot in spring and fall

it's certainly a well-named park! The dunes look amazing and another boardwalk! Awesome I love a boardwalk! I've tried oysters once in my life. that was enough! the little U river did look nice for kayaking. But then again, kayaking..... All in all though this looks like a brilliant park thanks for sharing Sara!

Oysters definitely aren't for everyone!! I didn't hate them but they wouldn't be my go to order. This was a great park, definitely will return.

Beautiful park surrounded by nature. The lake is so serene and calm. One of the places you must visit to refresh and enjoy the nature at its best. Your camping details and information is always so useful.

The dunes were pretty awesome! Great views from the top. There are so many wineries in this area, and normally I'd skip the oysters too, but it was fun to try one - and now I know what the taste is like.

New Subscriber here , your video just popped up in my recommended list tonight I think the people at KZbin is getting the right. Love anything outside hiking , camping , tenting you name it actually use to have a hard top and looking at one of those Clippers now LOL. Great video lots of information on the park. . Thank you for pointing out which sites would be best to stay at. The view from the dunes is beautiful. I would definitely go up there. Glad it was mentioned to stay on the trail. And stinks the wetlands aren’t that wet. And I would prefer to not see a snake but would love for it to have more water in the wetlands lol.

Great tour of the park. Those dunes looked amazing. They're usually a pain to climb, but so much fun to run down... At least if you don't mind a lot of sand in your shoes! 😁 That winery looked also pretty good! Next time sure take your kayak! 😊

We like what we like ;) And it just happens to be wine and beer.... and camping! It does get rather crowded in the summer because of the nice beaches and surrounding amenities.

This is misleading. You are not showing the massive crowds that daily show up on the local roads. Be aware that summer tourists number about 750 000 per summer season. Traffic jams for miles along the local access road. Every single day. As a local resident I did not get to go to the beach at all due to the constant traffic during the season.

We've seen one of the traffic jams a few summers ago. But on this visit, I didn't experience anything like that.
