In fact, In my opinion the very finest electric basses right now are being built in Europe!! Specifically Germany, Norway, The Netherlands.. Delano, Haeussell, GlockenKlang, Genzler; are redefining the possibilities of low frequency sound reproduction & instrument electronic amplification systems design..

RIGHT!! Ughh.. These are custom limited run builds though.. Typically only batches of about 10-20 are ever made and they’re typically already all sold before they’ve even finished building them.. I just wish the shape/routing requirements for the various Delano X-tender models wasn’t so unique. Otherwise I’d be soldering the multi tap toggles right now!! 😉

If you'd have to choose between Sandberg California Supreme 35th and Sadowsky MetroLine 21 Hybrid P/J, both Made in Germany, both at similar pricetag, which one you'd go for?...

In what way is it different from the TM ? soundwise I mean... Difficult to find these instruments in stores where I live, not to mention finding one with X tenders and a TM version.... :)

Completely different instruments! I’f you’re a big Stingray guy or you’ve owned a Lakland 55-04 then a TM is basically that sound (in fact I modded my Lakland deluxe w/Delano MC5He & JC5He & J-East Preamp, it’s better than a Sandberg IMO). If you love the sound of the this bass you won’t find one like this Sandberg unless you find someone that owns one of the 15 ever built good luck! But there’s Mayones & other German/European luthiers that will build you a bass w/any configuration of Delano’s different X-Tender model’s; Humcanceling/Single/Splits/SerialParallel + all the combinations x2!!
