I had dinner at one of the houses right there on the beach next to this one and it was amazingly beautiful and smelled fresh and fantastic. It was about 6,000 square feet with seven bedrooms and 10 baths. Super open and airy with lots of light and windows. I loved the master suite with sweeping views of the ocean and a wrap-around balcony. The entrance was really cool, a huge open-roof atrium filled with flowers and trees and butterflies. The pool had an outdoor area in the sun and you could swim underwater into the indoor area of the same pool which also housed a full gym and workout room with cathedral ceilings. So awesome! It was a business meeting at one of the "other" homes of a billionaire connection from work.

It’s actually located in a good location for a beach house. The waves there do not get large and the only time they affect the houses or nearby restaurant is with a huge swell, combined with extreme high tide. Also it’s very secluded area and I’ve been going to La Jolla for a long time and barely noticed it due to its proximity. Nice if you’re rich.

The green algae that spans the width of the property on the oceanside suggest the seawall is in water much of the time. As a result, like so many properties constructed on water, throughout the continent, this property will undoubtedly also experience considerable damage through erosion. Though it's difficult not to question if selling this home might be motivated by just such a reality. However, with that said, “Good taste and the amount of money spent are interrelated but not necessarily dependent on each other.” The interior design of this home is awful. Someone must have received a considerable gift card for one single showroom, reminiscent of what Thomasville Furniture used to be, and furnished the entire property with showy, excessively large, gawdy, overly gilded furniture. Regrettably, whenever it is suggested a home is inspired by Versailles its questionable if such a reference relates to Versailles outside Paris, France or Versailles Tower at the Paris, Las Vegas.

You may be thinking you are all secure with your 100 million dollar home and your 20ft privacy hedges and all of sudden, your cameras alert(if you got them) and you begin hearing a bunch of footsteps on your patio. Yeah, San Diego isn't what it used to be.. it's not cool to be a Border town anymore, especially after this administration. My family and I are getting out of here and headed to central Oregon next year. Born and raised San Diegan but I am so over California and this city that I have loved and adored for so long. Sad... Hope the place doesn't sell and gets taken over by squatters. Then, maybe some action would be taken by these billionaires but highly unlikely. By billionaires, I also mean the politicians.

There's a little concave indentation in the poured concrete sea wall between that property and the one just to the South of it and during the king tides of October, the waves slosh up in that thing and then concentrate so that you can get launched out to sea on a surfboard and jump the next wave coming in. It's absolutely crazy! The waves aren't big but the fact that you can actually ride one OUT to sea and that because of the concave reflection characteristics, it's moving twice the speed of an ordinary wave is a novelty and a half!
