उत्तर प्रदेश स्थित प्रयागराज में महाकुंभ के दौरान मची भगदड़ में घायल हुए 36 लोगों से मिलने के लिए यूपी पुलिस के महानिदेशक प्रशांत कुमार और चीफ सेक्रेटरी मनोज कुमार सिंह पहुंचे. यहां उन्होंने सभी से मुलाकात की. राज्य सरकार के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने सभी का हाल जाना. इस संदर्भ में डीजीपी प्रशांत कुमार और मुख्य सचिव मनोज कुमार सिंह ने जानकारी दी.
प्रशांत कुमार ने कहा, हम मेडिकल कॉलेज गए और इलाज करा रहे लोगों से मिले. यहां भर्ती किसी की हालत गंभीर नहीं है, कुछ लोगों को फ्रैक्चर हुआ है.वहीं यूपी के मुख्य सचिव मनोज कुमार सिंह ने बताया, '36 घायल लोग यहां भर्ती हैं. सभी का बहुत अच्छा इलाज किया जा रहा है और उनके साथ आए लोगों के लिए भी व्यवस्था की गई है. ये लोग देवरिया, दिल्ली और बिहार जैसे अलग-अलग जगहों के हैं, इनके परिवारों को सूचित कर दिया गया है. किसी की हालत गंभीर नहीं है लेकिन इनमें से कुछ की हड्डियों में फ्रैक्चर हुआ है, उन्हें ठीक होने में 3 हफ्ते तक का समय लगेगा, ऐसे 2-3 मामले हैं.'
