Sir, you are saying that required NPSH is calculated as available NPSH when there is 3% drop in pump head with flow being constant. But from the expression of head developed by pump it is known that head is independent of properties of the fluid which is being handled. So, how is it that with cavitation head is dropping?? As per the equation of total head : Pd - Ps, You explain that in NPSHr calculation, they are reducing suction pressure , So as per equatio, if Ps will be less to Total head will increase ? How will it drop ?
