5:00 they talk on Virgil’s name. I’m reading Dante’s Inferno. Virgil is a poet that was born before the birth of Christ. He actually stands for human reason. He was referred to as the Guide, Father or Lord by Dante. Virgil has few companion poets. He’s supposed to be all knowing and he rebukes all sin. Virgil knows all about the sinners. One of the most important aspects is he can convince or resist all the monsters of Hell but stay kind to Dante; letting him talk to spirits or one time in the eighth level he actually carried him across a dangerous rock to talk to a sinner. Another time he described him carrying him like a mother more for the child’s safety and not their own. He really cares for Dante. But Virgil was also deceived once. He’ll lecture Dante once and a while about going on or pity. I’m not spoiling anything so don’t worry. I think his name fits him perfectly. Also I am very thankful for this video. Love you Thomas, Joan and Tayln keep making these videos. Tayln’s appearance is very aesthetic as well. Virgil’s room is my aesthetic pretty much. I’d pay a lot of money for a clock that just winds around that fast. I’d probably be best friends with Virgil and Roman. I want to just mention that. Whenever I feel useless, stuck, or down I watch a video and I find a new fire. (The thing I want to know the most is the music for all the characters. Especially Deceit and Virgil)

(EDIT: I think this is worth the read) I absolutely love this video for two reasons. Number one, it's shows how much we care about the BTS stuff. Ok I have a theory about Virgil and the other sides: So I have seen all the videos of Sanders sides so if none of you have seen them all there will be spoilers! Ok so Virgil must have been a former dark side because his anxiety was so hightened but as he becomes more acceptable to the group he slowly becomes a lighter side and the villain of the story, Deceit, he must know Virgil the most because: 1.they squabble the most. In videos when deceit appears those two always fight first like they have some sort of history. 2.deceit wanted Virgil to "help" him with something. In the "scary phases" video at the very end, deceit interrupted Virgil from his "housekeeping" but more on that soon. 3. Deceit knows something that the others don't. In the newest video, "selfishness vs selflessness" Virgil was being interviewed by deceit and deceit said " is there anything you have been neglecting to tell the others?" Virgil kept saying stop but he wouldn't instead he said he was just talking about his name which means his name was something different like his name changed as he becomes more"soft". 3. The Dark sides have animal like traits. As we all know deceit has a snake face but what if the other sides do too? I thought about this so PLS don't hate me for this but I think Virgil could be associated with spiders because he has all those spider themed things, he hisses when he is annoyed which taranchulas do when protective, he has a pet taranchula! Sorry moxiety Shippers but if this is true than Patton will be scared to sh. .. Well that's my theory if you have any ideas or things you don't agree with make sure to comment below!

I have more to add to your theory. In the "Selfishness vs Selflessness" Virgil kept being protective over his name. Deceit mentioned Virgil's name "Like your name?" And Virgil got all protective about it. What if when he became a light side he changed his name not wanting to have any ties that connect him back to the Dark Sides. Like when he was a Dark Side he could have been representing something different with a different name, but when he became a Light Side he changed his name and that's also why he was so reluctant to share his name with the others. He was trying to find a new name. And with Remus saying "I would never lie to you" when he reveals his own name he looks over at Virgil and Virgil looks very guilty. More on this: Logan said "You're just being para-" Patton and Virgil both looked at him like "Don't do this, don't bring it up, what are you doing, no". But he stopped himself before he could say "paranoid". Lots of shade on Virgil and his name.
