If Sanders wasn't such an implicit imperialist I would probably vote for him. Obviously I don't think his policies go even remotely far enough, but it's still better than neoliberal policies. The problem with him though, is that his foreign policy is terrible, so what he basically wants to do is benefit first world workers at the expense of the third world. If his policies were more like Corbyn's, he'd be more tolerable, but it's hard to vote for policies that will benefit me at the expense of people in other countries. I just feel too guilty about that, even though American workers are desperately in need of social democratic reforms at least.

As an American socialist who is eligible to vote, I will not be voting for Bernie or registering democrat, because Bernie, and the progressive democrats as a whole have no chance of winning congress and all the terrible economics of Trump will just carry over and give "Socialism" a worse reputation here than it already has. Overall it's lose lose being a socialist in America.
