I never saw “Women of Faith” in person, yet my sisters would travel from our state to other states several times and would yammer on and laugh about you all so frequently I saw how important you were to believing women. Thank you.May The Lord richly bless you all now that she has graduated to Glory. I still have her books yet my sisters have a void in their lives.

I just loved every chance I got to see WOFaith. You all have amazing God filled messages. God has given each of you gifts and a message that you have delivered to his people with great success. Thank you all for sharing your life and talents. My favorite story of Lucy’s was the dead mum story that she nursed them back to life. Just as Jesus has given us the choice to have everlasting life. Thank you for honoring Lucy. She was an amazing Lady with tremendous love for God❤️. Heaven will never be the same. Lucy is in the house!

I just came upon this today Sandi. What a huge blessing it has been for me to hear and watch. I have followed Women of Faith since they started. What a gift they all were for me to glean from. I bought some cds that were of excerpts of other conferences around the nation. I’m in California and went to several of the conferences especially the first ones. Barbara Johnson was part of it. And then the group grew and expanded. So many wonderful experiences I had that always lifted me up so high and grew me in the Lord. I just watched the tribute to Luci from Chuck. Very heartwarming also. What a wonderful tribute you all did to Luci here. Bravo. This blessed me so much because my friends and I are approaching the anniversary of a dear friend, who loved Luci so much, and we lost her to suicide 7 yrs ago. We are planning a gathering to celebrate her. I passed this on to all of them and I hope we will be able to practice some Luci issimms. Thank you ladies of God for being role models for me. Thank you for your time and sacrifice to be away from your families to be Godly encouragers to us all. God bless you.

Luci was a treasure and her life has impacted so many women for Christ. These women speak to others just where they are. Luci was my Christian idol. She exemplified everything a Christian should be and had a blast doing it! She made me draw closer to the Lord just by her example. God has blessed these ladies with a message and the love to go with them. I thank God for Luci and all of the Women of Faith!!

Had the privilege of taking ladies from churches to Women of faith conferences in the 1990s what a blessing you ladies were. I remember Barbara and her story, too. Thank you all for sharing your lives with the rest of us who love Jesus, too. We love you all. Please take good care and we'll enjoy seeing in heaven. Maybe there will be a porch for you pals. God Bless you as you have blessed countless numbers of Christian pilgrims.

Luci blessed me many times as I went to WoF conferences and joined her in smaller venues. I particularly like her talk with the mirror fragment that she would shine into audience, exhorting us to reflect God's light into the world. My husband and I have read her "Best Devotions of Luci Swindoll" (with Foreward by Sheila Walsh) WoF book from 2001 aloud about 10 times to each other. Often situations would come up in life and we just have to say the title of a chapter to each other to be reminded of Luci's wisdom. Feel like she's a friend who will greet me when I arrive in heaven -- and not ask me, like a chapter in her book, to spell the word "love" or "Czechoslovakia."

I am a part of a group of women studying the Word who have been meeting weekly for over 19 years. In 2004 we flew from Indy to San Antonio for the WOF National Convention. We laughed so hard at the stories Luci Swindoll shared and we were refreshed in Christ by our time together. It was like you threw us a party and we celebrated together. My friends all flew back to Indy and I was left at the airport awaiting my plane that would eventually take me for a family visit to Oklahoma. As I sat waiting at my gate who should appear but all of you. I felt the Lord say to my spirit, “just sit and watch”. I could see the overwhelming tiredness etched in your faces but each of you were gracious to each woman who just wanted to sit with you and take a little something more home with them. I was surprised to see one woman thrust a manuscript into Marilyn Meberg’s hand. But Marilyn very kindly took it. I was astonished by the lack of restraint but admired Luci’s ability to embrace the moment. I saw her shake off her weariness and become an ambassador of Christ to each of those ladies. I cried several times with you through this hour because through my Bible Study group I have been part of something bigger than I could have imagined. Some of my sisters are getting older and I know we will begin losing each other. It will be the memories that will sustain till we meet again. Thank you for sharing! One special note to Sandi Patty....I was in the Army stationed in DC when you came to Landover, Md. I think it was 1987. I did not know Jesus but I knew of you. You sang a song about Indianapolis and I was a Hoosier girl. But then I bought your Christian CDs (cassettes) and God began to use your music to plant seeds in my life. Those seeds were then well watered by those who came behind which led to me giving my life to Christ in 1992. And there has been no looking back! I am thankful for the music! God bless you all and thank you for sharing your love for Luci. I pray for the comfort of Jesus to surround you as you remember the special moments that you shared.

Please don’t let this stop here. I’ve enjoyed WOF conferences for many years and missed it so much when that season ended. But this has brought back so many memories of how God used not only Luci but all of you. God bless you all for continuing to bless us with your presence during this zoom. We need this during our various seasons of this life. Love you all. DON’T STOP THESE ZOOM CONFERENCES.
