Having a little problem with my dremel atm, not sure if you've experienced something similar. Using the same flex shaft attachment as you and basically the bit keeps getting stuck. I'll be carving for a short while and just can't get the thing off. I use the little wrench and depress the button, but it just shoots back up. I've had to take it apart twice now to release the stuck bit. I am using a different chuck. It's the dremel brand multi-chuck so idk if that might be the problem. Going to try a different chuck like the standard one you're using to see if it fixes the issue.

sounds like a plan. If you mean the button pops back up it could mean the button has sheared its depresor off.

Just started following your channel. I am an avid artist, freehand, graphics, airbrush, digital. I always wanted to do wooden sculptures. I can do digital. But Woodshop was my favorite class in school. I still love the smell. My wife is surprising me with Dremel 3000. Is this a good one to start out with? Where do you go to purchase the wood? What is the best for beginners? Thanks for any info you provide! 😊 Do you have classes online?

Hi, I haven't used the dremel 3000. I would recommend the dremel 4000 with the flexshaft. I don't have an online course just lots of youtube videos.
