I used to watch f5000s when i was a young lad when ever i could, loved the sound and the enormous wheels on these beasts! Good to see them again

5000s were always great, even in Can-Am drag. There were always different chassis, engines, and drivers. If you were lucky enough to catch Scheckter or Alan Jones, or even James Hunt, you still remember.

i remember when my dad use to work and pit crew for John Wright's T400 Lola F5000 that car around Oran park was awesome miss these cars no drivers aids just a huge set of balls needed

Was it higher RPM or just open exhaust? Either way, these machines are mental and the vibrations that go through your body are way more impressive than just the sound. If I win the lottery... Nah I'm too old now.😊
