Sandy B is in one of my favorite sci-fi satires with co-star Benjamin Bratt (and both in law enforcement again 🤣🤣🤣) - Demolition Man, with Sylvester Stallone. It's a fairly early role in her career but she's cute as a button and kicks a lot of butt while being quite funny.

I think as well that the 2nd makes an interesting mirror to the 1st... Coz here she learns how to be a woman, while in the second she reconnects with what makes her unique rather than cookie cutter femme

First of all, how are we supposed to pretend that Sandra Bullock isn’t drop dead gorgeous? But she was the perfect actress for this role. Love this movie. It’s one of my comfort films. I can just have it on in the background, watch it when we’re rained in, when I’m sad, feeling goofy lol it’s just great for every occasion.

Amazing reaction as usual! I adore your reactions, your ability to empathize with the relationships of characters always touches me ❤I'd love for you to react to Dancer in the Dark someday. Starring Bjork, it's a musical that focuses on an immigrant mother, Selma, and the dynamics and struggles of her life and those in her life. How it's portrayed always feels so real and personal to me. Like watching real life people and not movie characters. And that's crazy to be able to pull of in a musical, where spontaneous musical numbers is like the furthest thing away from real world stuff in movies 😅 Thank you for sharing yourself with us!!!❤

I mean, yes Victor should have mentioned it if he knew anyone working in the pageant had a criminal history. But a) they weren't looking for regular criminals, they were looking for someone who was just a name and a line of riddles so they might not have heard him, b) they dismissed the beauty pageant industry to start with so they might have dismissed him if he had said anything, c) no one asked him and d) isn't that more the job of the FBI to check who underwent a name change and why in a suspected terrorist investigation?

I mean, I get the criticism of Beauty Pageants. But if you mock or make fun of the women who compete in it.......doesn't that make you part of the problem with Beauty Pageants? I mean, if you mock the contestants then you're mocking women for their appearances, their clothes and their decisions. How's that not sexism? How's that any different from the men who diminish women to basically being meat on display?

This is why I like the second too... Because it shows the rebound/over-shoot and Grace finding her way to an authentic femininity *for her* I don't think one's better than the other, but together they show a complete journey
