I think the fact that this woman molested Sandra with a rolling pin, happened to know that 2 men had inappropriate images with kids, had a job that put her around kids, and she wanted to invite Sandra's sister over tells me that she is a pedophile. Her attention seeking behavior definitely got her caught, but I don't think that attention seeking behavior motivated her to molest Sandra.

All jokes aside it makes allot of sense why they hurt children. Children can't fight back, easily influence, innocent, can do no wrong, and it feels empowering to project your power onto someone weaker than you. Thats why they do it. The thrill of the hunt, the prey who cowers, prey that can't fight back.

I sure hope that this case will help alter the way profiling has been done in the past because you are right to say this nutbag could have almost gotten away Scott free and could have been a serial killer and undetected for years! So sad 😭

One case won't change anything, unfortunately. Women "do away with" (thanks youtube censor) children all the time, but the FBI and other alphabet agencies like to keep them out of their profiles. It's baffling, really. I mean you're just going to disregard roughly half of the population? Big brain moves. The best we can hope for is prison justice, though I don't know how prevalent that is amongst female inmates.
@cattfishing
@cattfishing Жыл бұрын
@@HabrenOdinsdottir that's pretty accurate, according to what I've been told as well by the women I know who have served time. Though, a huge reason for there not being many cases for jailhouse justice is because most women are in there for drug related offenses, and are also guilty of some sort of child abuse/neglect/endangerment, etc. Therefore, having no room to judge others, and instead, confirm eachother they are all good mothers, and advise each other on how best to reconnect with and gain forgiveness from the children they failed while on drugs etc. However, the same cannot be said for child related sex crimes. And just like any other prison inmate, they would all want to exact some form of revenge against the perp. However, prisons as a whole have almost eliminated the possibility for any inmates to get JHJ, as there have been too many deaths and lawsuits and they take more precautions, keeping the sexual predators safe and separate from general population. Of course not all prisons, but a huge majority. Another, very important reason to point out for why you don't see sexual predators being beat up and/or killed in women's prisons is because female sexual predators are not as common as there are male. Which, btw, is also the reason for males being suspected at a higher rate than women, to being the perp for crimes like this. Because when you look at history and take patterns into account, as we should. You will see that it is far more likely to be a man who is abducting and raping women and children.
@cattfishing
@cattfishing Жыл бұрын
@@pink_sock may I ask where you get the idea that women are disregarded as possible suspects in child murder cases? Or are you talking about child rap and abduction cases? If so, there is a reason men are looked at more often as suspects in those cases. Which is because it is more common for men to be the perps of violent and swxual crimes. Especially against women and children. When it comes to cases where a child has randomly disappeared and/or died, BOTH parents and other family and close friends are always first to be looked at as possible suspects. Regardless of sex. When and if they are all cleared of any wrong doing, they have to go by the most likely scenario, and most likely people to fit the profile. Which would be men. Because of the very real history and pattern of behaviors and crimes committed by men. Of course when they too are cleared, the next steps would be to widen the search and groups of suspects. If they were pinning crimes that were committed by women on men, that would be unfair. But when it comes solving issues and crimes, the most logical procedure would be the process of elimination, starting with the most likely to be perps of the particular crime, or source of the particular problems. Which is fair. If you had a group of dogs and a group of cats, where both are certainly capable of doing similar things, but you come home to your couch completely torn apart, you're going to suspect one of the dogs first as the dogs are the most capable and more commonly found to be the culprits of complete destruction of furniture. Yes, cats can destroy a couch. But the likelihood of the entire couch being chewed a ripped apart by a cat in such little time is not something you see very often. The way they destroy furniture is different as well. Where most of their destruction is scratching the sides an back of the couch, and dogs being less selective, chewing up every part, using their teeth to chew and rip. I hope that makes sense. Lol I apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes. My English is not the best and I have a hard time getting my thoughts into words/texts..

The known statistics typically suggest males in that age range are the most likely demographic to commit violent crimes. This is only relies on what has been reported and documented though. So it may not be extremely accurate without that information. But statistics also suggest that women who do commit violent crimes are more likely have motives like financial gain. In the end though, investigators shouldn't get stuck with tunnel vision when making a suspect or person of interest lists.

I live about an hour away from Tracy & remember how big this was . When it came out it was a woman who did these things to her , it was explosive. It’s so rare for it to be a woman , especially for it to be someone who is not a relative of the victim. There were so many distracting creepy people in the area so it’s amazing they were able to get her so quickly after something so horrible. It’s a shame that they were unable to save her .

It reminds me how just 100 years ago, society thought that women were "too sweet" or "too timid" to be capable of committing murder... even when it was obvious. As a society, most people are still shocked that women can be s*xual predators, but it's more common than you would think. Women are just less suspected of such things, tend to be better at hiding their crimes/lying to CPS and the police, ect. I know this because my own mother was a s*xual predator, who also had Munchausen-by-Proxy. She is SO good at playing up the "sweet little old lady" act, that she has NEVER been held accountable for her crimes against children.

You can see when shes happily skipping across the street, something grabs her attention, and diverts her from her original destination. That's Melissa, she called Sandra over, and it makes that video even harder to watch coz i just want to yell and tell her not to go with her 😢😢😢

I just laughed when you said "almost 7,000 subscribers!" I'm catching on some shows I missed and you're at almost 400k right now, and why not? You do a great job with some nasty subjects.

I'm A New Subscriber! This Case Shocked Me Because Everyone Including Myself Thought It Was A Male Suspect That Killed Sandra Cantu! When It Was Revealed That It Was A Woman That Was The True Murderer Was Incredible! I Still Can't Figure Out Why Melissa Huckaby Killed Her Daughter's Friend! Good Job On Telling The Story Of Little Sandra Cantu! It's Cases Like This Is Why We Should Make Sure We Know Where Our Children Are At All Times!😥

Please do the Molly Young case from Carbondale, Illinois. About a decade ago or more. Molly was one of my sisters best friends, and we still live here in Carbondale. I would love for you guys to cover her case. It’s insane to me because Richie had spent time in our home.

Y’all, my already high opinion of you guys went up by zillions of percentage points when you made the comment about something sketchy being enough for a national news media to report on. Ain’t THAT the truth. Also, that little trailer park footage of precious Sandra skipping along happily just literally broke my heart in two. 😢
